Salba Chia Buddha Bowl (Vegan)

An easy vegan entree full of veggies and very filling. This bowl is sure to please all palates and it’s fun to eat.


Buddha Bowl


  • Handful of Spinach
  • ¼ cup of black rice (prepared how package says)
  • ¼ cup of chick beans (cooked and drained from can)
  • Sprouts
  • Button Mushrooms
  • Sliced Zucchini
  • Sweet potato Waffle fries
  • BBQ Tofu (optional)
  • 1 tbs of Salba Chia


Side of Avocado or slice it up and put it in the bowl!

Cumin Tahini Dressing:

(makes 2/3 cups)

  • 4 Tbs of Tahini
  • 2 Tbs of lemon juice
  • 1 Tbs of miso paste
  • 1 tsp of ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Mix together in Nutri-bullet or Vitamix (if the dressing is too thick, add a pinch of water and olive oil until preferred consistency. I added about 1/3 cup of water to mine because I like it to spread!). Add this to any bowl, salad or sandwich for a nice change of flavors.
